Welcome to DNA Studios! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our website (DNA-Studios.co.za) and booking accommodation with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

  • “Company” refers to DNA Studios, operating from Portion 2 of the Farm Kalkhuewel, Gauteng.
  • “Website” refers to DNA-Studios.co.za.
  • “User” or “Guest” refers to anyone accessing the website or using our services.
  • “Services” refers to the rustic and unique accommodation provided by DNA Studios.

2. Use of Website

2.1. You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.

2.2. By using this website, you agree to provide accurate and complete information.

2.3. Unauthorized use of this website, including hacking or misuse of content, is prohibited.

2.4. We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue our services without prior notice.

3. Booking & Payment

3.1. All bookings must be made through our website or an approved third-party booking platform.

3.2. Full or partial payment may be required at the time of booking. Payment details will be provided during the booking process.

3.3. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and electronic transfers. Additional fees may apply.

3.4. Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings will not be affected.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

4.1. Cancellations must be made in writing via email to Derrick@DNA-Studios.co.za.

4.2. Refund eligibility:

  • More than 14 days before check-in: Full refund minus processing fees.
  • 7-14 days before check-in: 50% refund.
  • Less than 7 days before check-in: No refund.
  • Independent platforms may have their own policies in place, which take precedence over these listed when inacted. (Eg. Nightsbridge, AirBnB, Booking.Com, LekkeSlaap etc)

4.3. No-shows or early departures are non-refundable.

4.4. We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, emergencies). A full refund or rescheduling option will be offered in such cases.

5. Guest Responsibilities & Code of Conduct

5.1. Guests must respect the property, nature, and other guests.

5.2. No excessive noise or disruptive behavior is allowed.

5.3. Any damage to property will be charged to the guest.

5.4. Pets are not allowed unless explicitly stated in the booking.

5.5. Guests must follow all safety guidelines, including those related to wildlife encounters.

6. Liability & Disclaimers

6.1. DNA Studios is not responsible for:

  • Any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings.
  • Unforeseen events such as extreme weather, wildlife encounters, or other natural occurrences.

6.2. Guests stay at their own risk and must adhere to all safety protocols.

6.3. We do not guarantee uninterrupted website access and may perform maintenance or updates without prior notice.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

7.1. We collect personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with GDPR and POPIA.

7.2. By using our website, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data for booking and communication purposes.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. All website content, including text, images, and branding, is the property of DNA Studios and may not be used without permission.

8.2. Unauthorized reproduction, copying, or distribution of content is prohibited.

9. Amendments to Terms & Conditions

9.1. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website.
